A home in Elk Highlands provides easy access to all that the valley has to offer... Best in class skiing, hiking, water activities, golf, dining and concert venues, a friendly mountain town, Glacier National Park, the Whitefish Trail system, and a vast array of state parks.

Elk Highlands has its own chair lift that carries you from our neighborhood to the "Home Again" run at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Super convenient! In addition we have our own cabin (Elk Cabin) next to the ski lift as a place to warm up, put your boots on, or use one of our in-cabin ski lockers ($) so you can leave your gear next to the lift.

Elk Highlands has direct access to the ski ways that feed to the lift, and a 100 acre nature park for your own exploration and hiking pleasure. In addition we have two great Whitefish Trail trails less than a mile from the neighborhood; Holbrook and Big Mountain, making it easy to get that quick morning or afternoon walk/hike in.

Elk Highlands offers some of the largest lots on Big Mountain, and each property and home have ample distance from their neighbors, while still maintaining that neighborhood feel.

While may ski resort require you to traverse passes and long drives from the airport, we are fortunate to have Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) only 18 miles (30 minutes) from our community.
It is a direct shot from the airport up to Elk Highlands; no passes or tricky roads to travel. In addition, Big Mountain Road that leads up to our community, is the same road everyone uses to get up to the ski area, so it is well maintained and cleared.

Elk Highlands is located on the sunny south slope of Big Mountain and the majority of lots have views of Whitefish Lake, Flathead Valley and based upon their orientation, peaks in Glacier National Park or the Swan mountains.
By being up on Big Mountain at 4,400 ft, there are many days when it is cloudy or fogged-in in the valley, were we have beautiful views across the horizon.

In additional to all that Montana has to offer, we are just 1 hour 15 mins from the Canadian border, 2 hours to Fernie, a nice mountain town with great skiing, and 5 hours to Banff. Endless opportunities to explore the beauty of the rockies both here in the states and Canada.
